STATEMENT

The source of inspiration and material for my unique "soft paintings" is my own Tropical Garden. From it I create complex mono prints that are then enhanced with paint and stitch. The texture of stitching worked into the semitransparent, graphic layers of printing produces a unique artform. I work in a full range of sizes for both corporate and private settings. Soothing natural subject mater combines with the beauty of stitched silk to offer an elegant, soft counterpoint to hard architectural surfaces.
